Ingredients
- 500 g Slightly fatty pork, cut into 1 cm cubes
- 4 cloves Garlic, crushed and chopped
- 1 dessert spoon Palm sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon Pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon Salt
- 2 tablespoons Chinese rice wine
- 1 tablespoon Groundnut oil
To Serve :
- Noodle cakes
- Salad plate
- Easy peanut sauce
- Nuoc cham sauce
Instructions
- Mix together the pork, garlic, sugar, salt, pepper, rice wine and groundnut oil in a bowl, cover and leave to marinate overnight.
- Thread the pork cubes on to the pre-soaked bamboo skewers and cook under a preheated grill for about 10 minutes, turning frequently.
- To eat the pork, wrap a piece in a noodle cake with some fresh herbs or a piece of lettuce.
- Pull the pork from the skewer, and dip it into the peanut sauce of dipping sauce.
