Stir-Fried Beef with Vegetables Shreds

Ingredients

  • 310 g Beef, shredded
  • 2 Green capsicums, thinly shred
  • 60 g Carrots, thinly shred
  • 125 g Bamboo shoots, thinly shred
  • 2 Shallots, chopped
  • 1 clove Garlic, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon Water
  • 2 tablespoons Oil for cooking (add more if required)

Marinade :

  • 1/4 teaspoon Baking soda
  • 2 teaspoons Cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon Water
  • 2 teaspoons Soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Chopped ginger

Seasoning :

  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 tablespoon Soy sauce
  • 1/4 MSG (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon Cooking wine
  • 1 teaspoon Sesame oil

Instructions

  1. Marinade beef for 1 hour.
  2. Heat 2 tablespoons oil in pan.
  3. Sauté beef till color changes. Remove and set aside.
  4. Heat 1 tablespoon oil in pan and fry shallots and garlic till fragrant.
  5. Put in green capsicums and fry for 1 minute.
  6. Add carrots, bamboo shoots and water. Stir-fry to mix.
  7. Return beef to pan and add salt, soy sauce and MSG.
  8. Continue stir-frying till all ingredients are well mixed.
  9. Stir in sesame oil and wine.
  10. Dish up and serve hot.
