Ingredients
- 3/4 lbs Beef
- 1 cup Rice powder
- 2 Green onions
- 3 slices Ginger
- 1 Star anise
- 2 tablespoons Soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon Wine
- 1 teaspoon Sugar
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1 tablespoon Hot bean paste
- 3 tablespoons Oil
Instructions
- Cut the beef into small slices about 1 1/2 inches square and 1/6 inch thick. Marinade in onion, ginger, star anise, soy sauce, wine, hot bean paste, sugar, salt and oil for about 30 minutes.
- After soaked, dredge each slice of beef with the rice powder. Then steam it in a shallow bowl over high heat for 20 minutes (if you use the special small steamer the time will be 15 minutes).
- Before serve, sprinkle some chopped green onion and brown peppercorn powder over the beef.
